Atlona has expanded its Velocity family of IP-enabled AV control system products with the addition of a 7-inch touch panel, the AT-VTP-700VL. This touch panel is a perfect fit for AV control or room scheduling in education and corporate settings, thanks to its user-friendly interface.

The VTP-700VL, mirroring the appearance, feel, and mounting of Atlona’s widely-used 10-inch panels, serves as the main AV control interface for various environments like corporate meeting rooms, classrooms, and beyond. It is equally effective as a room scheduling panel in lobbies and hallways. The panel’s bright LEDs mounted on the side offer a vivid display of room status or highlight control functions.

The modern design of the VTP-700VL, coupled with its 1024×600 native resolution and a capacitive glass surface, adds a touch of sophistication. Its upgraded processing and memory ensure quick setup and response. During system configuration, the AV control and room scheduling GUIs are automatically loaded from the Velocity hardware or software server gateway.

For versatile installation, the VTP-700VL comes with a glass and wall mount that fits one-gang wall openings in the United States, U.K., and EU. The standard VESA 75 mounting pattern further enhances compatibility with mounts from third parties.

Atlona also offers optional mounting solutions for the touch panel. This includes flush mount kits for the 7 and 10-inch Velocity touch panels, allowing them to be embedded into a wall, giving the panel face a flush appearance with the wall surface. For tabletop settings, the AT-VTP-VTM kit allows the panels to stand freely on a meeting table or lectern.
