punQtum users now have the capability to directly interface with Riedel Communications’ Bolero wireless intercom system. This newly introduced feature, Bolero Connect, seamlessly integrates with punQtum’s Q210 P speaker station, providing a comprehensive solution for managing large-scale events with multiple partyline channels.
The Q210 P speaker station from punQtum offers users intuitive control in a user-friendly package. Riedel’s Bolero system is a robust intercom platform capable of supporting up to 250 beltpacks and 100 antennas within a single deployment.
With the introduction of Bolero Connect, punQtum can now offer an integrated system on a single network, eliminating the need for additional digital conversion equipment. This streamlined setup enables all channels—both send and return—to travel along a single cable, allowing for a combination of stationary, wired connections, and mobile intercom units.
Bolero Connect establishes a single network connection between punQtum’s Q210 P and Bolero systems. Previously, projects requiring more than two channels necessitated additional equipment, such as three speaker stations and an NSA interface. Bolero Connect streamlines the system, reducing both complexity and cost while optimizing workflow efficiency. With Bolero Connect, up to six partyline channels can seamlessly integrate from a single punQtum Q210 P speaker station to Bolero, enhancing communication capabilities for large-scale events and productions.
Furthermore, Bolero Connect includes a time-saving channel naming feature, which automatically synchronizes channel names between both systems. This eliminates the need for manual labeling, ensuring a properly integrated and reliable communication system. Additionally, punQtum’s array of innovative features, including show relay, announce to PA, and Logic, seamlessly apply to the Bolero system when used in conjunction with punQtum, further enhancing functionality and versatility.
