Atlona strengthens its Velocity lineup of IP-based AV control system products with its latest offering – the AT-VTP-700VL. The 7-inch touch panel is designed for both educational and corporate environments, serving a dual role as an AV control interface and a room scheduling tool.
Design and Functionality Suited to Diverse Environments
The VTP-700VL sports a look and feel akin to Atlona’s popular 10-inch panels, allowing it to serve corporate meeting spaces and classrooms seamlessly as the primary AV control interface. Additionally, it is also an excellent fit as a room scheduling panel in areas like lobbies and hallways. To aid in control functions, and to provide a clear visual cue of the room status, the panel comes equipped with bright, side-mounted LEDs.
The Sleek and Refined Build of the VTP-700VL
The design of the VTP-700VL harmonizes contemporary styling with functionality, featuring a capacitive glass surface with a 1024×600 native resolution. The touch panel boasts fast setup and response, thanks to upgraded processing and memory. The user interfaces for room scheduling and AV control are configured to load automatically from the Velocity hardware or software server gateway during the system setup.
A Touch Panel Optimized for Corporate and Education Applications
Atlona product manager, Justin Kennedy hails the VTP-700VL as a superior touch panel solution for corporate and educational applications. He cites its 7-inch control surface, improved processing and memory, and side LED lighting as distinguishing features for AV control or scheduling tasks in classrooms and meeting spaces.
Installation Flexibility and Optional Mounting Solutions
The installation process of the VTP-700VL is catered to flexibility, including a dual-purpose glass and wall mount that is compatible with one-gang US, UK, and EU wall openings. It’s also compatible with third-party mounts, thanks to its standard VESA 75 mounting pattern. Also, it supports optional mounting solutions such as the AT-VTP-FMK-7-BL and AT-VTP-FMK-10-BL flush mount kits for the 7 and 10-inch Velocity touch panels. These kits enable the touch panels to sit flush with a wall for a seamless look. In addition, Atlona introduces the AT-VTP-VTM kit for placing the 7 and 10-inch panels freely on a tabletop or a lectern.
